Tears in the fabric of reality lead you to an alternate world of fantasy, dreams, nightmares and the subconscious. A world which exists between the phone ringing and awakening— where everything seems possible yet paradoxical, if you allow yourself to stop for a second, just to hear the ring.

Roman Makhmutov is a portrait, commercial and documentary photographer. His projects have been exhibited in NY, DC and Moscow, and he was published by Wired, The Guardian, Esquire and New Yorker.
