Irina Zavyalova
Welcome to the world of Irina, the world of voluptuous
women and bashful men, of birds carrying messages
humans are never allowed to know, the world of colors,
vision, beauty and awe.
Formally educated at one of the finest schools in Europe,
Stieglits Academy of Arts and Design in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Irina has come a long way since then.
International recognition came to her as she was invited to
Shave International Artist Workshop in Somerset, England in
1994. That same year she was honored with the prestigeous
Delfina Studio Trust Award (London, England).
Since her arrival in this country in 1996 Irina has had numerous
shows, won the Camden County Cultural and Heritage
Commission Award in 1997, donated her works to the Markeim
Arts Center in Haddonfield, NJ and kept painting.
As a token of appreciation for her painting for the Golden Book Cover Design Contest, five trees were planted in Israel’s 50th Jubilee Forest.
Irina runs an art studio in Brooklyn with students age ranging from 3 to 65, and seeks an opportunity to expand to Manhattan. Her students' work can be seen annually at The National Arts Club and at www.irart.com/show.

Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Student of the Art Institute named after V. Mukhina, St.Petersburg, Russia. Graduated in 1984
1985
The group show “Self-portraits”. A two-month painter voyage to Siberia
1985-1988
Head of the Experimental Children Art studio, Tashkent Students from age 2 to 20, numerous exhibitions highly appreciated by professional painters and audiences
